Stage 1

The pattern for the mould that the iron is poured into is expertly shaped by our craftsman and the moulds are prepared.

Stage 2

The molten iron is poured from the furnace into smelting pots to be transferred to the moulds

Stage 3

The molten iron is poured into the moulds where it is left to set

Stage 4

After the iron in the moulds has cooled, the sand that makes up the mould is removed from the cast iron to reveal the desired shape

Stage 5

The newly moulded iron is de-burred and fettled by hand to remove any unwanted edges and generally finish the product

Stage 6

The iron is finally coated with a tough powder coated shell to make it look and feel beautiful and  last a lifetime
