Why a Classic Type Clothes Airer?
Our Classic Kitchen Maid® Clothes airers are exclusive to Cast in Style. We discovered this beautiful cast iron end in a remote Scottish foundry and have lovingly had it re-created. It is the most curved cast iron end we make. This means it spaces the wooden laths further apart allowing you to load thicker items such as towels onto the laths more easily. This airer comes without the wooden laths which you can source yourself. This is perfect if you live abroad as it greatly reduces the shipping costs.

UPGRADE your airer to a DELUXE version…
Because we make our own airers we can upgrade your Kitchen Maid® clothes airer to our deluxe version. We will change the standard nylon pulley wheels with solid Cast Iron ones. If you have a white Kitchen Maid® we even coat the cast iron wheels in white so they match your whole airer. Just choose deluxe cast iron wheels in the type option above.

Our pulleys conform to NICEIC building regulation guidelines, and have longer screw rods to clear ceiling insulation commonly found in new homes.

We 100% guarantee our tough steel "detachable” screw threads will NOT break. Our pulleys are highly adaptable, we are the only company that supplies pulleys with detachable screw threads, therefore, it is only Kitchen Maid® airers that can be easily relocated into a new position. If you move house or relocate your airer we will simply send you replacement screw rods to allow you to reinstall your clothes airer, you will not need to purchase new pulleys and we will do all this for FREE

We supply high quality organic cotton lined, lifelong nylon rope which is much more durable than traditional jute rope. In fact it is so strong that it is used on boats and yachts. This means that even if you load your clothes airer up to the maximum weight you can have complete confidence that the rope will not break. We also give you the option of 15 meter rope if you have a high or sloping ceiling and need extra length.
