Product description

This Rustic Octagon Door Knob is made from malleable iron. This is a high quality product, very solid and with a black antique finish. Do not confuse this quality product with cheaper imports. This product combines functionality, traditional looks and durability. Supplied with a mortice mechanism, however, it would also be ideal to put onto a rim lock. Comes complete with fixings and screws and is supplied as a pair. Available in two different sizes.

Rim Lock Type: This is a door knob and a back plate for the side of the door without the rim lock, and a door knob without a back plate for the rim lock side of the door. Includes an escutcheon and a mortice bolt.

Mortice Type: This is 2 door knobs both with back plates and a mortice bolt.

We ordered this item hoping it would be good quality from the detail and picture online. We were not disappointed. The item is a great size, heavy and durable and just what we wanted on our front door. We also ordered the Hastings escutcheons (D918) which work really well with it.
