Product description

These Shutter hinges are made from hand-forged iron. They are a high quality product, with a beeswax finish and hand forged using traditional English blacksmithing methods. The design is based on timeless classics but hand-forging means no two pieces are identical, each one a unique yet functional work of art that will only enhance it's setting. The hinges are hot forged i.e. drawn to shape, not welded or fabricated. Shutter hinges are designed with an angled offset on which the shutter is mounted so that when the shutter is opened it is thrown clear of the window. These quality hinges are supplied as a pair and they come complete with all fixings and screws.

Please note the Beeswax Finish is for internal use only, see the Traditional Black Finish for external hinges.
