The Antique Ironwork traditional heart design thumb latch set is a very traditional handle for a cottage style ledged and braced door. Looks beautiful on any natural wood door and perfectly complements the shades of the wood. The set comes complete with a pull handle which matches the thumb latch perfectly.

The thumb latch comes with a privacy chain which is perfect for bathroom doors, the pin on the chain can be pushed through a hole in the latch to keep it locked when the bathroom is in use. To comply with Building Regulations the hole for the chain should be drilled all the way through the door, so that, should the door need to be opened from the outside in an emergency, then the pin on the chain can be pushed through the door. Available in a black or pewter finish.
