Our Victorian Kitchen Maid® Clothes airers have a much more curved cast iron end than our Traditional pulley clothes airer. This means it spaces the wooden laths further apart allowing you to load thicker items such as towels onto the laths more easily.

We do a huge range of colours this means that there will be a colour to complement any room. Our new Heritage colour range is designed for todays modren shades of grey and our Traditional range is one of the most popular colours choices. If you own an Aga this is even more useful as our colours are developed to match perfectly with Aga ranges.
Made to LAST
Components are powder coated which is as tough as enamel. This means the coating not only looks great but is also guaranteed not to rust.
Why not add an Extra double pulley?
Why not add an extra double pulley to your airer, it will help you guide the rope along the ceiling to the corner where it can drop down to the cleat hook. If you have a long distance from the airer to the cleat on the wall the addition of an extra double pulley keeps the rope at ceiling height and out of the way. It is also useful if you have a door behind the airer where you might need to walk under the rope. Keeps the rope up at ceiling height out of your way.
UPGRADE your airer to a DELUXE version
Because we make our own airers we can upgrade your Kitchen Maid® clothes airer you also have a choice of our Deluxe cast iron wheel pulleys or Standard nylon wheels pulley. The deluxe version is superb if your airer is going to be in pride of place as the wheels really enhance the looks of the airer. The standard wheels are a great choice for a more discrete position.
If you have a white Kitchen Maid® we even provide white wheels in the pulleys and coat the cast iron wheels in white so they match your whole airer.

Our specially designed clothes airer support brackets allow you to support any of our clothes airers from the wall rather than from the ceiling. They are ideal if you cannot fit our clothes airer pulleys into your ceiling because you have a suspended ceiling or your joists simply are not in the right position for you. Stop your Laths from Sliding with our Rubber Grippers
If set up correctly, your wooden laths will not fall out from your airer ends. However, from time to time they may slightly slide out of place. This can be the case if your wooden laths are not able to protrude from the cast iron ends by our recommended 10cm minimum protrusion. For peace of mind, you can add rubber grippers onto your order. These grippers will hold your laths in place, preventing them from sliding. Just simply push the rubber rings onto the end of each lath as shown in the photo on the left. Alternatively, if you wish for the rings to not be as noticeable, you can place them on the inside of the airer ends instead, as pictured on the right.

Our PULLEYS are SPECIAL
The components in our airers are unique to us. Unlike other pulleys, our pulleys are specifically designed for strength and durability. Lower quality imitations quite often snap during installation. Our pulleys conform to building regulation guidelines, and have longer screw rods to clear ceiling insulation commonly found in new homes.
Our pulleys are highly adaptable, we are the only company that supplies pulleys with detachable 3inch screw rods, therefore, it is only Kitchen Maid® airers that can be easily relocated into a new position. If you move house or relocate your airer we will simply send you replacement screw rods to allow you to reinstall your clothes airer, you will not need to purchase new pulleys and we will do all this for FREE (This ONLY applies to products ordered AFTER 1st January 2009)
