Our hinges and hinge fronts combine quality with durability. They will give any door or gate a face-lift and they will last a lifetime. The difference between hinges and hinge fronts is that hinges are functional unlike hinge fronts which serve no functional purpose and are just decorative. They have been hand forged in a British foundry using traditional methods which are over 100 years old. Malleable iron is particularly suitable for the production of builder's ironmongery because of it's strength and durability.  It should not be confused with cheaper imitations which are also available.

They are available in a variety of  styles and sizes so there should be a hinge or hinge front to suit every taste and door width.  As a rough rule of thumb, door hinges or fronts should be at least half to two thirds the width of the door that they are being fitted to. These quality products are supplied as a pair and they come complete with all fixings and screws.
