We have made our ends based on the Victorian style of clothes airer end and not the Traditional style as with all other 6 laths on the market today. This means it spaces the wooden laths further apart allowing you to load thicker items such as towels onto the laths more easily, and with 50% extra space it's your only choice.

Because we make our clothes airers ourselves we only use the highest standards. Our Chrome airers are made from Solid Brass and Chrome Plated to give a superior, gorgeous, highly polished finish.

Our Chrome airers as plated is Chrome and this means the coating not only looks great but is also guaranteed not to rust.
Why not add an Extra double pulley?
Why not add an extra double pulley to your airer, it will help you guide the rope along the ceiling to the corner where it can drop down to the cleat hook. If you have a long distance from the airer to the cleat on the wall the addition of an extra double pulley keeps the rope at ceiling height and out of the way. It is also useful if you have a door behind the airer where you might need to walk under the rope. Keeps the rope up at ceiling height out of your way.
Stop your Laths from Sliding with our Rubber Grippers
If set up correctly, your wooden laths will not fall out from your airer ends. However, from time to time they may slightly slide out of place. This can be the case if your wooden laths are not able to protrude from the cast iron ends by our recommended 10cm minimum protrusion. For peace of mind, you can add rubber grippers onto your order. These grippers will hold your laths in place, preventing them from sliding. Just simply push the rubber rings onto the end of each lath as shown in the photo on the left. Alternatively, if you wish for the rings to not be as noticeable, you can place them on the inside of the airer ends instead, as pictured on the right.

Our Solid Brass Chrome Plated PULLEYS are SPECIAL
The components in our airers are unique to us. Unlike other pulleys, our chrome pulleys are specifically designed for strength and durability. Lower quality imitations quite often snap during installation. Our chrome pulleys conform to NICEIC building regulation guidelines, and have long screw rods. They come complete with solid brass chrome plated wheels.
Our pulleys are highly adaptable, we are the only company that supplies pulleys with detachable 3inch screw rods, therefore, it is only Kitchen Maid® airers that can be easily relocated into a new position. If you move house or relocate your airer we will simply send you replacement screw rods to allow you to reinstall your clothes airer, you will not need to purchase new pulleys and we will do all this for FREE (This ONLY applies to products ordered AFTER 1st January 2009)
