It can be fitted to a frame or box and prevents the sash window being opened beyond that point, allowing ventilation without compromising on security. Ideal to use for windows high up where children could be left unattended. The barrel is fitted into the window frame and then the strike plate is fitted. Also available in a polished chrome finish.
