Product description
Impress your friends with this Asado Cross, another excellent accessory to use with your Kadai Firebowl. Your meat is secured by two adjustable arms and four handy meat hooks. The steel cross is also supplied with a stand allowing you to adjust the distance of the meat from the flames. Attach your preferred meat and then let the fire bowl do the rest to get a succulent roasted meat with a smoky flavour.
Please note the Asado Cross can only be used on 70cm and 80cm firebowls - it is not suitable for 60cm firebowls.
Maximum weight of meat 4kg.
How to assemble your Asado Cross:
- This hand-crafted Cookware Accessory has a protective, food-safe coating for transportation and will require a traditional curing process
-
1.Bolt the ratchet to the clamp frame using the nuts and bolts provided. NB: The vertical part of the ratchet sits in the right-angle of the clamp frame.
-
2. Ensure the clamp frame is on the lip of the bowl and use the wing bolts to secure in place. NB: The curved bar fits onto the inside rim of the bowl.
-
3.Screw the two parts of the vertical adjustment bar together and push it into the hinged ratchet tube.
-
4.Finally fit the horizontal adjustment bars onto the vertical adjustment bar using the ring bolts.
Prior to use:
- This hand-crafted Cookware Accessory has a protective, food-safe coating for transportation and will require a traditional curing process
-
1.To remove the coating heat the cookware accessory to a medium temperature and then thoroughly wash in warm soapy water.
-
2. Dry thoroughly and apply a thin coat of cooking oil.
-
3.Heat the accessory again, but to a hot temperature (the oil may smoke a little, but this is just part of the curing process).
-
4.Repeat this application process several times until an even 'black' coat is achieved.
-
You can repeat the oiling process whenever necessary to keep your cookware accessory in optimum condition, as cooking or heating some foods may degrade the oiled finish. The more it is used, the better the non-stick finish becomes. Avoid cleaning in the dishwasher as this will remove the natural oiled finish.
Care and maintenance of your Asado Cross
- After use clean with hot, soapy water and wipe over with vegetable oil.
