Door Finger Plates & Kick Plates
Door fingerplates, also known as door plates and push plates, appeared in the 1800s. Initially they served a functional purpose which was to prevent unwanted marks from the dailly contact of fingers on the doors of entrance halls and better rooms. Our door fingerplates combine quality with durability. They will give any door a face-lift and they will last a lifetime. The fingerplates made from malleable iron have been hand cast in a British foundry using traditional methods which are over 100 years old. Malleable iron is particularly suitable for the production of builder's ironmongery because of it's strength and durability. In conclusion, our fingerplates allow you to add individuality to any door whilst remaining perfectly functional. Our fingerplates combine quality with durability. They will give any door a face-lift and they will last a lifetime.
