Our thumb latches combine quality with durability. They will give any gate a face-lift and they will last a lifetime. Many have been hand cast in a British foundry using traditional methods which are over 100 years old. Cast iron products have been familiar to the general public for many years. However, their are many varieties of cast irons all of which have different properties and applications. Malleable iron is particularly suitable for the production of builder's ironmongery because of it's strength and durability. It should not be confused with cheaper imitations which are also available. Our thumb latches are available in a variety of styles and sizes so their should be a latch to suit every taste and door.
