Blacksmith Beeswax Gothic Thumb Latch

This Gothic thumb latch is made from hand-forged iron. It is a high quality product, with a beeswax finish and hand forged using traditional English blacksmithing methods. The design is based on timeless classics but hand-forging means no two pieces are identical, each one a unique yet functional work of art that will only enhance its setting. The latch is hot forged i.e. drawn to shape, not welded or fabricated.

 

 

This latch combines functionality, traditional looks and durability - it will enhance the look of any door and at the same time work as a sturdy fully functional thumb latch. Comes complete with all fixings and screws.   Also available with an extra long thumb latch for doors over 55mm in thickness. Please note the Beeswax Finish is for internal use only.
