Blacksmith Beeswax Shutter Hinges

These Shutter hinges are made from hand-forged iron. They are a high quality product, with a beeswax finish and hand forged using traditional English black smithing methods. The design is based on timeless classics but hand-forging means no two pieces are identical, each one a unique yet functional work of art that will only enhance its setting. The hinges are hot forged i.e. drawn to shape, not welded or fabricated. Shutter hinges are designed with an angled offset on which the shutter is mounted so that when the shutter is opened it is thrown clear of the window. A hole will need to be drilled into the brickwork for the spiked part, which is designed to be cemented into the brickwork to add strong reinforcement. These quality hinges are supplied as a pair and they come complete with all fixings and screws.
