Blacksmith Beeswax Slim Thumb Latch

This thumb latch is made from hand-forged iron. It is a high quality product, with a beeswax finish and hand forged using traditional English blacksmithing methods. The design is based on timeless classics but hand-forging means no two pieces are identical, each one a unique yet functional work of art that will only enhance its setting. The latch is hot forged i.e. drawn to shape, not welded or fabricated. This thumb latch is a different style to the others in a similar finish, with a slim profile hand and a much chunkier look and feel to it.

 

These latches combine functionality, traditional looks and durability - they will enhance the look of any door and at the same time work as sturdy fully functional thumb latches. Comes complete with all fixings and screws. For use on doors with a maximum thickness of 45mm. Please note the Beeswax Finish is for internal use only.
