Each product undergoes an accelerated ageing process, creating a dark patina before being placed into barrelling machines, giving them the beautiful burnished finish. During the final stages of manufacturing, a high quality, clear matt lacquer is applied for protection.

Care & Maintenance

We advise against the use of chemicals, and other harsh cleaning products on this finish as it may affect the lacquer.

Products should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and wiped over with a wax-based furniture polish like our 'Maintenance Wax' K2149 to offer some protection.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using ‘3-in-1 Oil’. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
