Our bolts and catches combine quality with durability. Many of our bolts are made from solid brass in a foundry in the UK using traditional methods and then plated in nickel. They have all been hand finished and they will last a lifetime. Brass is particularly suitable for the production of bolts and catches because of it's strength and durability. This means that these bolts and catches can resist a tremendous amount of force and this is why it is very important they are not confused with cheaper imitations which tend to be brittle and therefore break under a small amount of pressure.
