Kirkpatrick 1031 Windsor Espagnolette Lockable Casement Fastener

This Lockable Espagnolette Windsor casement fastener is made from malleable iron. This is a high quality product, very solid and with a black antique finish. Do not confuse this quality product with cheaper imports.

 

It is designed to work with Espagnolette window locks and the square spindle (which turns the lock) is permanently fixed inside the fastener. This means the spindle won't work itself loose inside the window frame as it is fixed to the fastener. It also has a "Stop" so if you need to use this on a top hung window the fastener will not drop down and will stay horizontal. This product combines functionality, traditional looks and durability.

 

Comes with a hexagon locking key to lock the fastener. Available in left or right handed versions. Complete the look of a window by adding a matching stay (see picture below).
