Reeded Espagnolette Casement Fastener - Aged Brass

This Reeded Espagnolette Casement Fastener is cast from solid brass and given an aged finish. This fastener is very versatile, it can be fitted to any type of window including UPVC and timber due to its slim fixing plate and to any modern espagnolette rod or stand-alone centre lock. The handle is slightly cranked to allow ease of use. Supplied complete with a 7mm thick spindle and can be locked with an allen key (supplied) by way of a grub screw on the handle.  This fastener combines functionality, traditional looks and durability - it will enhance the look of any window and at the same time work as a sturdy fully functional fastener. Comes complete with all fixings and screws. Available in left and right handed versions. To retain the original finish, regular polishing with a good quality metal polish is essential, however, if the intention is to allow the surface to age through oxidization, no attention needs to be given. Over time the brass will acquire a darker and more aged patina. The fastener is reversible and has a locking mechanism by way of a grub screw.
