Kadai Swing Skillet - 30cm Diameter

This Kadai Swing Skillet is another great accessory from the Kadai range. The skillet has a handy eye on the handle to allow the skillet to be suspended over a heat source. Great to use in conjunction with our fire bowls and tripod stands. The Skillet is made from steel. A real traditional old fashioned way to cook! Outdoor cooking has never been easier, all you now need is good weather. Available in 2 sizes. We recommend the small size for use with 60cm, 70cm and 80cm fire bowls. The large size is ideal for large functions with firebowls in excess of 140cm.

 

• This hand-crafted Cookware Accessory has a protective, food-safe coating for transportation and will require a traditional curing process
• 1.To remove the coating heat the cookware accessory to a medium temperature and then thoroughly wash in warm soapy water.
• 2. Dry thoroughly and apply a thin coat of cooking oil.
• 3.Heat the accessory again, but to a hot temperature (the oil may smoke a little, but this is just part of the curing process).
• 4.Repeat this application process several times until an even 'black' coat is achieved.
• You can repeat the oiling process whenever necessary to keep your cookware accessory in optimum condition, as cooking or heating some foods may degrade the oiled finish. The more it is used, the better the non-stick finish becomes. Avoid cleaning in the dishwasher as this will remove the natural oiled finish.
   

• Wash after each use and heat to a medium temperature to drive off any moisture.
• Then wipe over with a little cooking oil. Important: If the item is going to be put away for an extended period of time we recommend that they are oiled both inside and out for greater protection.
